WP staging – I cannot log in

    Hello! I scanned thro the FAQs and this forum, deactivated the admin box, and removed security plugins from being downloaded to my stage. After multiple permutations, I am still stuck at:

    ‘Logging in with WordPress.com is disabled for sites that are in staging mode.’

    Is there any way to combat this or is this a lost cause and I cannot use the free WP staging? Many thanks!

    Hi @roow

    Do you only use your WordPress.com account to log into your dashboard, even on the live site?

    Don’t you have regular WordPress admin user credentials that you can use to log in?

    Can you share a screenshot of the login page you got?

    Hi Alaa,

    Thank you for the very fast response!

    I usually log in through my host server Bluehost, but I can log in through my wordpress account as well.

    @roow, you can’t log in because of the cookies issue you have; try to log in twice, and this usually fixes it the second time.
