WP site down, please help!!!

  • Hi there,

    My self hosted WP site (galzo.info) is down…and it’s my fault.

    I tried to add some code to the functions.php and got it all wrong.

    now it only shows
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare my_post_image_html() (previously declared in /home/galzoin/public_html/wp-content/themes/bizzfolio_standard/functions.php:37) in /home/galzoin/public_html/wp-content/themes/bizzfolio_standard/custom/custom_functions.php on line 26

    Can anyone help?

  • You’ll need to access to your site’s ftp, enter the wordpress folder > wp-content > themes > your-theme > functions.php and remove the code you added. When changing stuff in your php files, i recomend you to do it through ftp, and always keep a fully working backup of the file you are editing

    You can also get original file from theme source

    Always back up files before you edit. Edit it via FTP and wysiwyg editors so you can do always “undo” if change don’t work.
