• I have installed wordpress multisite recently but when I try to click on the Register button, it end up giving me a “HTTP 404 – File not found” error although wp-signup.php is present in my wordpress installation. Is this caused by the installation of wordpress in a subdirectory?

Are you trying to go to yourdomain.com/folder/<regsister> then?

    I mean mydomain.com/wp-signup.php

So when you say you installed WP in a sub directory, what you mean is you have a sub-dir setup so your sites are domain.com/subsite?

Because if you installed it in a folder, like domain.com/Wordpress, then you cannot run it out of domain.com
