    Hi guys!

I′m new at this and am trying to do an ecommerce web. I′ve just downloaded both WP and Woocommerce, so I′ve got the latest versions (april 2019). I got nuts searching in youtube videos to find why it is impossible to me to see all my products as a galery, proper shop, and I finally realised that it is the shop page the one that seems not to find them. I created like 12 test products. I think they should appear in the shop page by default, but they are not found. Any idea? It happens in any theme, so is not a theme issue. The screenshot I′ve got says: “there were not found products matching the selection”

Thanks a lof for ahy help or guide. Greetings ??

  • Yeah it’s a page. So why isn’t it showing in WC settings? That doesn’t make any sense.

Typically you setup a SHOP page, go into SETTINGS and select the SHOP page and viola!

Can you send me the URL for Forced Downloads? I want to see what’s on that. When I put that in as a URL I got a 404

Sorry, not the backend url, the front end. Make sure you’re signed out so it’s not attaching an admin URL

Excuse me, I don′t understand. If I sing out I cannot access the WP. If you tell me the path you want me to show you I′ll do. Is it possbile?

Sure. It’s a page that’s called Forced Downloads. I believe it was called forzada descarga

    hI,

sORRY for not having entered here until now. Finally I got the answer: as simple as I had not published the products, that was why I did not see them.

As I am a learner, I thought I could keep the products in “draft” way until everything was readdy to be published. I did not know you had to have everything published in order to be able to see it while you build your site.

To be honest I do not understand this modus operandi, for me has not sense, but…that′s it.

Thanks a lof for your help and I′ll close the thread now. Bye!

    Glad you figured it out.

You can always put a product into HIDDEN if you don’t want anyone but you to see until you are ready to PUBLISH

That would totally do it! ?? Thanks for letting us know that you found on the solution.

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread. If you’re unsure in the future, sharing screenshots of settings can go a long way, as that’s the kind of thing that’s easy to spot.
