wp-settings.php on line 21 error after installation

  • HI Guys,

    Had an error randomly appear on the site (site went completely down – front end and back-end)

    Manually upgraded the site to 3.2.1 and this is the error message I’m getting

    Warning: require(/home/lastminu/public_html/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lastminu/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/lastminu/public_html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/ZendAMF/library’) in /home/lastminu/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

    ######################################################################

    There’s no mention in the forums of a fix for this. Anyone that could help or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Ok tried uploading a fresh install as per your instructions and still no joy.

    Any other ideas?

    I’m having the same problem (line 21) on WordPress. DId you ever figure this out?
