WP Server STats and ControlPanel STats report different CPU Usage

    I am having a lot of performance issues mostly high CPU usage on my server (hosted by TPPWholesale).
    seaching for solutions and a way to investigate i installed WP Server Stats plugin..
    where it reports 36% CPU usage, the hosting Control Panel reports 100%. considering the slowness of the site (sometimes unusable) i believe the CP is reporting correctly.. my big issue is i still can’t find a way to troubleshoot and find what is chewing my server resources. Any help/advice/suggestions would really be appreciated.

    Try the following:
    1. Disable all plugins
    2. Switch to a default WP theme

    This will help you to identify where the slowness is coming from. Besides if the hosting company is a good company they can easily check and let you know the script which is eating most of the resources to identify the issues.
