WP seems to be adding rogue shortcodes to Testimonials!

    Using The7 template.

    On all of our testimonials, when I create a new one, the rogue code ([vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]) is being added.
    This has started happening over the last few weeks.

    I’ve copied the content into notepad and pasted as text, I’ve highlighted all content and removed formatting too, but nothing seems to fix it.

    WP and plugins are all up to date.
    No settings changed at the time this issue started.
    I have deactivated all plugins and the issue still exists!

    Anyone any ideas?

    have you tried disabling the theme and replacing temporarily with twenty fifteen theme to see if the problem persists?
    which plugins are you using?

    Yeah, I tried that and the issue remained.

    No, just the usual WP editing features, text, copied from notepad to help remove formatting, and copied into the Text view of a Text Block! It’s got me baffled!
