WP Search not giving any results for custom post types or pages

  • Hello,
    I recently wanted to switch from google CSE to wordpress search because CSE takes time to index pages.

    [Sorry for hiding the link, I dont want anyone to search my website on google and get to this page since i dont want to reveal i’m using wordpress.]

    The problem is that wordpress search is not working at all, I tried with traditional search as well as premium plugins like SearchWP , Ajax Search Lite and I DID select the custom post type (which is “Album” in my case) in the plugin settings but no luck.
