• Hi great WP community!

I was looking for Joomla, Drupal etc. modules to do a reciepes website. But after 3 months of using WP I want to make this happen with WP.
Don’t try to stop me ??

I am asking your advice for some ideas or plugins.

For sure I will use Tag Warrior for ingredients and categories for Meat, Soups, Appetizers…

Which plugin can make my life easier?
Any idea what hacks to use?
    Any opinion?

    Thanks in advance

Just a bump? The first and the last.

First time I’ve seen this post. ??

We have a ton of recipe sites over at wp.com. They’re just using the standard WP install for the most part with nothing extra. Your idea for categories and Tags sounds about right.

What other issues would you need for plugins?

    Hi drmike!

Thanks for the response. I’ll take a look at recipe sites at wp.com which is a good idea that I’ve never thought.

The main issue is to make a system that will be as user friendly as possible. Normal user will have TinyMCE for inserting txt and pics. This post would go to moderation then. All reciepes will be revised by me and than I’ll make modifications to code before posting. Making ingredients in one div with specific class, than every procedure in making a food as a block with picture and instructions.

This is basically what I think is possible with WP.

So I need just some ideas and thoughts what to include: which plugins, hacks…
Let’s call it brainstorming…to help me and maybe someone else which will use WP as a reciepe site.
