WP Role Not Assigned Correctly

    Hi. Highly value the plugin and spent the day testing the free version and considering purchasing for sure. But one bug that is a blocker.

    When a free subscription member set to WP user role (member) upgrades to paid with WP user role set to (subscriber) – the upgraded member has their role set to both member and subscriber in the WP users. Why both?

    I need it to just set to “subscriber” only when upgrading. Or when expired, set back to free and WP role “member”.

    Is this a real bug? Or any solution in the code of the user role functions file? Thanks!

    Hi @ddeubel,

    When the user subscribes to a subscription plan, he receives two roles: 1. The role given by the subscription plan and 2. The default role of the site, that is set in WordPress Dashboard-> Settings-> General-> New User Default Role. When the subscription plan expires, the user will only have the default role of the site.
