WP Revision Master and custom fields using Toolset

  • Hi,
    Im currently using Toolset to create a site that showcases motor vehicles and as part of my custom post types (vehicles) Im including additional information such as engine, transmission, suspension and so forth.

    Contributors can edit vehicle listings and once they do, the post automatically goes to a status of “pending” until either discarded by me or approved.

    My problem is, on the revision page, I can only see changes made to the title and the main body content – nothing else.

    So if they change the engine specs, I have no way of knowing whats been changed.

    Does your plugin do this?
    Is this something you’d be interested in looking into?

    Hi,

    WordPress Revision Master uses default WordPress functionality and adds few extra features. It currently only saves Post/custom post title and content, which are also WordPress default.

    I actually had plan to add meta field save option, but couldn’t do it due to time shortage. I would be glad to help you.

    I’m very interested in this. I have Toolset custom posts with custom fields containing the majority of my site’s content. Without Revisions, editing errors are costly.
