WP Rest API returns duplicate posts and leaves some out

  • i have a post type called custom_post_type

    custom_post_type is set to hide on the settings page (wp-admin/options-general.php?page=cpto-options)

    when using the rest api the post types are returned incorrectly includes duplicates and removes other posts so post count is the same.

    I have disabled all plugins and found this to be the culprit.
