wp recipe cards not working

  • Hi !
    I’m using foodica-lite free theme with wp-recipe maker plugin.
    It’s nice plugin and works like a charm, except for the google rich cards.
    When I try to look for my recipe in google, I can’t see the images: I see only text.

    That link in the screenshot isn’t actually a recipe page. Not sure why Google is leading people there.

    If you test a recipe in Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool you’ll see that all the recipe metadata is available and working:

    I do recommend using an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO as well. Our plugin takes care of the recipe metadata, but you need a general SEO plugin in combination.

    Really? I don’t have experience with that particular plugin but I’d expect to see some general Article and WebPage metadata at least.

    I’d recommending using Yoast SEO instead then. We actually have a built in integration with their new Schema Graph that works very well!

    Ok so I’ve installed yoast seo and managed but I can’t see the image in google result anyway…

    This won’t happen instantly. Use Google Search Console to reindex your site. That might speed things up.

    Well..google tells me that any page is registered but not indexed…
    Why ?
    Anyway, when I try to look for some recipe on google, it shows only the image attachment link (without showing image,however) … It doesn’t show the recipe article link ..

    I0m still trying but anyway I don’t get any result with google rich cards… the image is not showing anyway…
