I’ve installed and activated the WP QuickLaTeX plugin and Sensei LMS. I configured WP QuickLaTeX to activate LaTeX interpretation on all pages, regardless of the use of?[latexpage]. I use the 2023 theme.

When I tried to insert a LaTeX expression within two dollars signs as a quiz answer, it didn’t show up in the quiz. Further, when I went back to the editor, all the backslashes in the LaTeX expression I typed disappeared. How do you get WP QuickLaTeX to work in Sensei quizzes? Aren’t they compatible?

  • Hello @hrithikk

You can use?LaTeX?notation and?the?Beautiful Math?component of Jetpack to include complex mathematical and scientific expressions in your quizzes.?

Once you have installed Jetpack and activated the Beautiful Math module, you can enter any LaTeX code in your questions/answers, with ‘$latex’ before it and ‘$’ after it (as described here), and it will be converted to an image for display in your quizzes.

We haven’t tried the plugin WP QuickLaTeX so we recommend Jetpack’s Beautiful Math instead since we know that one should work fine.

    Hope this helps!
