    The Usability Dynamics website used to have a forum which was set up with the intention of being an ongoing and ever growing reference for users of UD products. It was searchable (plugin-specific, unlike the WordPress support area) and on many occasions it had the best documentation available for specific problems/solutions, etc.

    I remember one particular problem that was suddenly disabling my most important WP Property sites and giving no error codes. I finally found the explanation & solution that another customer was kind enough to post (the URL for an expired domain in the plugin file had to be updated). Had it not been for that forum post, the sites would have had to have been rebuilt with different versions,including all the work, time, and troubleshooting that would have entailed. Because of the forum, and another user’s kindness, it was a much quicker fix. This is just one example of why the forum is so important.

    I had thought the forum must have been removed temporarily while the site was being redeveloped, but it’s been a while now, and it’s still not back.

    So my questions are;

    Is it coming back?

    If not, could the existing forum database be posted either on the UD site or elsewhere so that UD customers could use it as a reference again? It would not have to be attended by UD support if there’s no budget for that, but at least have the archival data available?

    Anyone else miss the WP Property forum? Please let your voice be heard.

    Hi, I was searching for how to post a topic and came across this thread. The concerns of @un_rick are valid. Then, I looked at the period of time that has lapsed! Oh my gosh! Seriously? Did this tread get lost in the “someplace” and just did not get closure? As a whole, time is one of the most precious resources we have! I have only been a member of WordPress for two years. I have invested in many of the pro plugs. And I have quickly learned that it does not matter how GOOD a plugin brags itself to be if they cannot supply decent support in a realistic period of time. And I am not pointing at UD. I could mention some others but I will not. Instead, I think I will start a site to rate plugs for their support in terms of accuracy AND TIME. I got upset enough with both a management plugin and a chat plugin to create a site.. not done yet.. called RATEwpPlugins.com. If anyone is interested I will host the site and setup the forums categories.
