WP Post Foot Library- can not get footer to display

I installed the WP Post Footer Library to our blog. The options to add post footers immediately showed up under the Post menu. I added in a post footer saved it. Then created a blog post and selected to use that post footer. Yet, when I publish or preview the post the footer does not show? Does anyone have any suggestions, as I am pretty new to the game….
