WP-Polls tab not appearing after installation and activation

  • I just installed and activated WP-Polls 2.21 (and its Wp-Polls sidebar widget) on my site. However, although the plugins show as activated, no “Polls” tab appears on my dashboard.

    The widget appears fine if you view my site at https://www.PoliticalPartyPets.com.

    How can I fix this?

    Nevermind – I found the answer in the developer’s support forum. The problem was that I put the plugin files in a directory called wppolls instead of polls. All I had to do was rename the directory.

    rest assured I will restruture everything in the next release
