WP plugin automatic activation, similar to WPMU?

  • Is there a way to use plugins in regular WP same way as mu-plugins are in WPMU – I mean automagically activated, without user intervention? It would be most usefull thing to have in WP-powered hosting enviroment like the one I’m running.

  • Even in MU they are activated by “user intervention” – only in that case the user is the main admin of the whole MU install.

    I’m well aware of that – but there are no way to duplicate said functionality in WP, I assume?

    Oh well, back to good old drawing board…
