• I get a “Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.” when I try to do anything with it, especially when I try to log into the https://www.website.com/wp-admin/ page.

My hosting service has php 5.6 as a starting point with option for 7.0 and 7.1. They have eliminated 5.2.4.

My website was created using wp version 5.0.7 which requires php version 5.2.4 and a required mySQL version 5.0.

How can I fix this problem?
