    SET-UP:
    WORDPRESS – 3.9.1
THEME – Customizr 3.1.17 with a Customizr Child Theme on top (like a ‘cherry on top’ ??
    PLUGINS – Yes many

    **********************

    ISSUE:
1.) Followed the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/.

2.) Code for doing a ‘top of page’ page jump or link, that is given is … < a id=”top”> (spaces front and back of the a’s are intentional) … and the WP Text Editor strips it right out; no joy.

3.) I went a re-searching … and noticed a discrepancy from another support post somewheres which used this convention < a name=”top”> … and THIS WORKS it does not strip out.

4.) Compare using … id= … to … name= … the point is, that, name= works and is not stripped out of the WP Text Editor.

5.) I am posting this here in our Customizr Community because it’s where I call ‘home’. It’s tagged hopefully well enough for even folks outside of the Customizr Community to benefit. I write in explicit detail for other noobs & novices to be able to learn and understand.

    Cheers,
    B
