    HI,
I’ve installed plugin WP Page Extension which adds -html to the sites. I need this as i will move a static site to wordpress and would like to keep the links as they are. the links are now in the form link/page.html.
Now i’ve enable mode rewrite for custom links and the plugin actually works. And the links are link/page.html as i expect them to be.
However if i link to the page form another website or if i type it in the browser URL bar i get the 404 page. At first this puzzled me. So i sought help on IRC.
Now i was told that what happens is that mod ads it’s own .html to the page. so the server is then searching for link/page.html.html which ofcourse doens’t exist. buit is displaying the correct link in browsers URL bar. does anyone know how to solve this? How to have links made propperly – to be accessible from outside as well as form inside the menu.

i don’t have the site public yet as i am only testing it on private (LAN) LAMP server (Kubuntu 12.04).
