Without knowing the state of the site it is difficult to say what is going on but no, ordinarily unless they changed the password themselves or the admin changed their password inside the admin panel, no one else should be able to do that.

If you are the admin of that site, I recommend that you manually change their passwords from the Users menu inside the wp admin panel and then ask them to change it to something else.

I found it very strange. Or they themselves made the change request password or forgot them, but in the latter case, would not have received e-mail stating the change. There was inva??o or third party access to the panel, at least there is no evidence in the logs.

    Hi is your issue resolved?

In fact, it has not been solved. I could not figure out what happened. Users were unable to log claim that did not change their passwords. I could not figure out what happened. I changed the password for both and returned to login normally. Now only lack I find out if there were any problems with their passwords or effectively made the change (and forgotten).

    Yes that is very strange.

However in regards to your users they are able to log back in, is that correct?

I think it is safe to say that the users forgot their password.

I am marking this thread as resolved. No replies in 3 weeks.

    Thank you
