WP-Optimizie Cache file permission Help!!

    Hi and thanks for the help if there is one, first of all. I have a problem with the wp-optimize plugin, especially in the caching system. WordPress reports this error to me in all wp-admin pages, it is also displayed in the “Cache” section of the WP-Optimize plugin. In fact I can’t tell if the plugin is working. When activated the results from gtmetrix are slightly better but still I see that the site is actually slow.

    The reported error is as follows:

    Warning: opendir(/homepages/4/d846866637/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Home/wp-content/cache/wpo-cache/isaporidiunavolta.eu/tag-prodotto): failed to open dir: Permission denied in /homepages/4/d846866637/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Home/wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/cache/class-wpo-page-cache.php on line 829

    I would like to understand how to resolve if anyone can help me. Later I installed other caching plugins so maybe there might be some configuration left to interfere.

  • @isaporidiunavolta It looks like there’s permissions issue WP-Optimize is trying to create cache folder inside wp-content folder and your server permissions are denying to write inside cache folder.

    Can you please check the folder permission of wp-content/cache folder and set it to 0755?

    Hi, thank you for reply.
    Ive set permissions in 755. Now i want control if this have worked. There is a method? Becouse first of do that, in the admin console still shows up the same error.
