WP Optimize Causing “Edit with Elementor” to Point to Wrong Post/Page ID

Problem Summary

When viewing a page or post on my site, the link “Edit with Elementor” in the WordPress admin bar points to a different post/page ID. To edit the correct post or page, I have to navigate through the WP dashboard to posts/pages, find the one I want, then click “Edit with Elementor.”

Diagnostic Steps Taken

I created a clone/staging version of the site to do further testing. I disabled plugins and switched themes, and even reached out to Elementor’s premium support for help. They confirmed that disabling WPO fixes the problem.

In this case, I hope you will understand that as we have no control over coding for third-party plugins nor themes, we highly recommend that you report this issue to the support team for this plugin so they may further troubleshoot and provide any recommendation (or possible fix) to resolve this issue, maybe some settings that need to be made from the plugin.

Thus, it seems there is something in WPO that is causing the admin bar link for editing with Elementor to point to the wrong post ID.
