WP-Optimize 2.2.7 Menu Conflict

    I have used both ‘WP-Optimize’ and the ‘Ozh Admin Drop Down Menu’ plugins FOREVER and WP-Optimize has always played nicely with it. Since installing WP-Optimize 2.2.7, the new menu now floats to the top of the workspace and covers the right side 85% of my Ozh Admin DropDown Menu (also horizontally at the top of the workspace).

    Can you look at repairing/replacing that functionality to work with Ozh Admin Drop Down Menu?

    Please could you try updating to the latest version (2.2.9)?
    Does this resolve the issue?

    Updated to 2.2.9, but, unfortunately, no change???

    I did not mention this in my first post, but the default screen since 2.2.7 is ‘Settings’ and not ‘Database’.

    Hi,

    Can you report this to the authors of “Ozh Admin Drop Down Menu” ? I don’t think there’s anything we can to do prevent another plugin interfering if it is coded to do so; it’s up to the other plugin to not do it.

    Thnx for the prompt response.

    I was initially reluctant to report this because the “Ozh Admin Drop Down Menu” plugin is no longer supported. It would be quite a reach for me, the end user, to expect you to look into it. But you did, and I am grateful for that.

    I finally decided to report this because there is/has been no similar conflict with your sister plugin, UpdraftPlus backup, regardless of the update rev cycle for that product. UpdraftPlus plays nicely with the “Ozh Admin Drop Down Menu” plugin.

    Again, this glitch appeared after “making improvements and adding features” in v2.2.9.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t really make sense for us to invest limited resources in supporting a plugin whose own makers stopped supporting it 4 years ago.
