WP Optimiser unable to activate or delete

    Note we have a maintenance page up just now

    I have been using this for a while, I have changed themes and was advised to deactivate all plugins.

    I deactivated this, I am now unable to reactivate or delete (I don’t want to delete, but thought I could delete then re-install)

    The warning says it is a fatal error when I try to activate

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Warning: include_once(/home/customer/www/potatohouse.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/includes/class-updraft-logger.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/customer/www/potatohouse.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/wp-optimize.php on line 272

    And when i try to delete

    but there is no link to click re trouble shooting

    What is the problem?

    I have got someone to delete this.

    Are there known issues with certain themes?

    @amyskea It looks like some core WP-Optimize files were not uploaded.

    Could you please try to upload the plugin files via FTP/SFTP?

    To do this:

    1. Unzip the WP-Optimize ZIP on your local machine, using a zip utility such as 7-zip.
    2. Access your WordPress installation via FTP or your host’s filemanager.
    3. Navigate to wp-content/plugins. Upload the WP-Optimize folder here.
    4. Go to the Plugins page on your WordPress dashboard. You should see WP-Optimize in the list of plugins.

    Let us know if above steps helps to install the plugin?

    hi there
    thanks for that. I am back using your plug-in. The built-in one with the theme is not a patch on yours! I was also advised to use one that my host have, again, nowhere as good as yours.
    I installed it and ran all the draft-delete etc etc and immediately jumped back up the speed check with google. (not perfect, but getting better)
    However I now can’t run the Pre-load now function (it has last date mid Aug – which is when i would have had it before) I assume this is because there is some conflict?
