WP Offload Media not working with EWWW Image Optimizer

WP Offload is not triggering when a photo is uploaded via EWWW

EWWW is doing everything as it should, but what seems to be missing is that WP Offload isn’t triggering off of wp_update_attachment_metadata(), which it usually does.

Also, it seems like this is only going to apply when using EWWW IO in async/background mode.
