    Received from WordPress:
    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Advanced Access Manager.

    I received this from TWO plug-ins and I did not know what to do, so I restored from back-up. I am running WP 5.3 and using BookStore theme 1.1

    @ckeating2016,

    Typically it means that there was a fatal error under the hood. Based on the past experience supporting other folks, I would suggest to FTP to your server and remove manually /wp-content/plugins/advanced-access-manager folder and then reinstall the plugin.

    Keep me posted.

    I am cloud hosted by Dreamhost, so I don’t think I can do this.

    Hello,

    We’re experiencing the same issue with the plugin and have tried to FTP to our server and remove manually /wp-content/plugins/advanced-access-manager folder and then reinstall the plugin, however this made no difference.

    It says: error detected with the automated migration script and our site has a critical error and its blaming AAM plugin for it. Login short codes aren’t working.

    Any other suggestions?

    Yes, I have the same problem. And it did not vanish after I have installed the AAM plugin again.

    Hello you all,

    It quite possible that this is due to PHP 7 caching compiled PHP script as mentioned in this thread https://forum.aamplugin.com/d/358-uncaught-error-class-aam-core-server-not-found/6.

    If you have the ability to restart your server, please do so. With shared hosting providers, you can go to CPanel and try to toggle PHP version. This might help to clear the cache.

    Keep me posted.
