• Hi, please help me! All of a sudden the WP navigation menu on the left stopped working (I am able to log in to my site in wp-admin. When you click on either Posts,Media,Pages,Dashboard, Home, Updates: nothing happens. the right side of the screen just stays a blank white area. I last added content to the site maybe a month ago and it was working.

I have WP V 3.3.1. I use Google Chrome and Firefox, and it doesn’t work under either web browser. The website is https://www.seattlelearningcenter.com The website is currently up and running fine. I just can’t update any content on it!

    Any advice? Thanks!

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress 3.3.1. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap. As you have such an old version of WordPress, you will need to carry out a series of smaller manual upgrades. See Upgrading_WordPress_Extended for the full details.
