WP multisite sub subfolder

Hello WordPress Multisite Gurus’s,
I have a basic question about WordPress Multisite:Is it possible to create or map sub sites as sub-directories of subdirectories. For example building a network of WP sites as such
https://mainmultisite.com/country1/subsite1
https://mainmultisite.com/country2/city1/subsite1May be using combination of subdomains and sub sites could help!? For example
https://country1.mainmultisite.com/subsite1
https://country1.mainmultisite.com/city1/subsite1I wonder if this could be done out of the box, with some domains mapping plugin or even custom developed if possible! Any thoughts on that?
Any reference to where I might get more information about this issue?
