    I have a WP Multsite:

    VM Internal Name: wphost01.foo.org

    IP: 128.220.1.222

    DNS: MyWordpressMultisite.foo.org

I need to migrate this to a new VM on our infrastructure:

    New VM Internal Name: wphost05.foo.org

    IP: 128.220.2.333

And when live will need to KEEP its existing, public DNS: MyWordpressMultisite.foo.org

    What I’ve tried is this:

On the NEW VM, I’ve fully set up a standalone, pristine WP instance, then promoted it to Multisite.

Using the WP All-In-One Migration plugin, I then Restored my sites/data from the old VM into this new instance.

At this point, we are ready for the DNS name Switcheroo (to use a technical term).

We switch the DNS, make corresponding change in wp-config.php and…..

It’s asking me to reinstall WP Multisite.

I feel like I’m missing one other config change, but not sure what.

    Advice appreciated!
