I have purchased and installed Yoast SEO Premium but have big problem with translation. First it is not possible insert metadata for both languages but it change all the languages to the last wrote. Second (but worst) it brocken any link related to the page. Is there a fast solution or do I have to uninstall?

    Hello!

Sorry you’re having trouble using the Yoast SEO Premium plugin together with WP Multilang.

First of all, since you’re running Yoast SEO Premium, you’re eligible for premium support so for any issues you encounter with the plugin, you can email us at [email protected].

Regarding your concern, upon reviewing the available integrations for WP Multilang here (look for “wpm_integrations_init”), they offer integration for Yoast SEO free but not for Yoast SEO Premium. If they offered integration for Yoast SEO Premium, we would expect to see a second line referencing ‘wordpress-seo-premium’ as that is how they defined the available integration for Advanced Custom Fields free and pro versions.

Unfortunately, the best advice we can provide is to contact WP Multilang and request integration with Yoast SEO Premium as this is something they must define in their available integration code.

Thank you Rumejan for your answer. I’ll write to official support as you suggest. I understand there is nothing to do by Yoast side to improve the compatibility. It seems WP multilang is not longer supported and updated. It is very good and free but it looks like I made the wrong choice, so, I shouuld change the multilanguage plugin or the SEO ones. Since I have many pages already translated it may be an hard job to migrate them into a new multilang plugin. Which would be your persanal suggestion about?

@thetraditionalbow If you are looking for an alternative multilanguage plugin, we’d suggest WPML.

ok, thank you, it seems the only solution since WP multilang seems dead will try to find a way to migrate.
