That’s not the way it works.

That “Visitors” tab has been removed in the latest version, it is not used.

Please look at the installation instruction, and do not mark a plugin as “not working” until you tried to make it work ??

hint: you need to use either a shortcode or a template tag to display de visitors list. The visitors tab might be a future feature… not implemented yet.

I must admit I was a little hasty… I’ve had a good look at the documentation since, and must admit I made a mistake … sorry.

but the visitors tab was a little confusing, you must admit..

Yes you are right: that is MY mistake!

I just submitted an upgraded version 0.1.7 with the tab removed.

    That tab was misleading, sorry.

Version 0.1.7 *without* the misleading tab will be available for download in about 15 minutes right here.

Please, if you can check that it works for you, change your rating to “works”. Otherwise please report what’s wrong.

    Thanks for reporting.

    will do ??

    Cheers

To make things clearer: the automatic “visitors” tab is a future planned feature to make the plugin even simpler to use. It should never have made it in the official release in the first place, especially since it could not be appropriately deactivated in the settings page.

Well, I was just testing some plugins… on the run, sorry for that ??
I will test it some day again… needs more documentation… that’s for sure…
It takes to much to implement and without a proper documentation it’s even harder…

PS: Should I guess for what is used “Default tracking attributes” ?? ?

    It looks promising though…
    Cheers

@nickshor: don’t worry about it. The visitor tab should not have been there in the first place. It’s gone now.

There is proper documentation for setting up the plugin, and it seems to me many people have achieved to make it work, it’s not that hard. Just copy/paste the template tag in your “profile” page template and you’re all set. It’s not much harder than any other plugin of that kind.

I’m working on making it even easier to integrate in the future.

“Default tracking attributes” is optional. You don’t have to worry about it. Just leave it blank. It’s somewhat documented on the official plugin page on my blog, and will only be useful for advanced uses where you want to track custom visitor cookies (quite powerful feature though).
