• I was using the plugin without any issues and really enjoyed its features. However, for some reason, the settings panel for the plugin broke.

    • I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin multiple times and checked the logs, but I haven’t found any errors related to the plugin. I also tried deactivating all other plugins, leaving only WP Meteor active.
    • I attempted to restore my website to an older backup from a time when the plugin was working fine, but that didn’t help either.

Here is a picture of the broken panel: Broken Panel Image

Additionally, the links in the settings panel are not functional when clicked.

Well, I am using WordPress.com, and when I switch between my sites, the plugin works fine on other website panels. Initially, I thought the issue might be related to the WordPress core files and didn’t suspect that my browser (Opera) could be the cause. To test this, I switched to using the Edge browser. After opening WordPress and navigating to the plugin settings there, everything worked fine. So, the issue has been resolved; it was a compatibility issue with the Opera browser. However, this leaves me with two questions.

    • “Why does the WP-Meteor plugin not work on my site, but when I switch to the admin panel of another one of my sites, it works? Note that I’m using the same browser (Opera) in this situation.”
    • “Why does switching between browsers affect the functionality of the settings page?”(Opera to Edge)
