• When I click on the Menu tab under the “Appearance” tab it sends me to a very basic HTML site without the cool menu editor. At the end of the page it reads:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home2/juancris/public_html/ace/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 434

Any ideas on what’s going on?

Did this just happen when you upgraded to 3.2?

If so, have you tried turning off all your plugins?

No, this was actually a brand new WordPress install, not an upgrade.

All the plugins are deactivated so I’m not really sure where the error is coming from.

I tried changing themes back to the twenty eleven, and twenty ten to see if that would work but to no avail.

I’m thinking I should uninstall the whole thing and reinstall it again to see if that’ll work.

Yeah, if it’s brand new, dump it and start over. Could be a bad install.
