WP Menu Cart Pro could not detect an active shop plugin

  • HI,

    I am a newbie so apologies if obvious.

    I have a few issues with my shop I can’t solve myself despite reading tutorials etc.
    One is that whilst the product can be added to the cart, when I then click on the menu item cart, this is empty.

    So I thought perhaps if I add the cart to the menu via the plugin Menu cart pro this would help, but now despite the shop being live and active, I get this message

    WP Menu Cart Pro could not detect an active shop plugin. Make sure you have activated at least one of the supported plugins. Hide this notice

    I also noticed that once an item is in my cart, I can’t edit it which is also not great from a UI perspective.

    Any thoughts are greatly appreciated…

    Are you using WooCommerce my any chance? Also, can you send through a link to your store?

    thank you so much for your reply.
    I have tried the plugin and solved the issues by reinstalling woocommerce so I think it is working now (shop.standeazy.com) but when i switch on the plugin cart pro now it displays it messing up the menu bar. Is there another way to get a little icon next to the cart?
