WP Members and Subscribe2

  • Hi there,

    This might seem like an odd question but is there a reason why you would need to use a members plugin like WP-Members together with Subscribe2?

    Was it recommended to use both together 4 or 5 years ago or perhaps it was necessary back then but not really now?

    Subscribe2 does not need WP-Members to work and will work just fine without it. But it depends on how you want your site to work, Subscribe2 opens subscriptions up to everyone, if you want to control access you’ll need a membership plugin too.
