• Hello,
I’m testing WP-Members (by Rocketgeek) on our development WP site, for the first time.

Yesterday had a few users register as members and proceed to login in OK. Today I notice that all the Admins in the User area appear to have become deactivated, i.e. the option to Activate is present.

This seems odd and may have nothing to do with the plugin but thought it would be sensible to post a message here first before going any further.

Any ideas as to what has happened?

    Many thanks,
    Sally

P.S. The deactivation has been applied to a subscriber as well as admins. There are not many users yet. It could be the deactivation has been applied to users other than members.

I’m guessing this was a stupid question, based on a misunderstanding on my part about what the plugin is doing. I guess that the option to Activate appears against any user that has not been activated with the plugin, so that would include pre-existing users who signed up via the WP default method. Hopefully there is no impact on these existing users.
If anyone knows different, feel free to say. Meanwhile I am continuing to have these conversations with myself, in my head, but will stop this dialogue with myself on the forum as it’s becoming embarrassing.
