wp mail smtp does not send email

    Hello, the plugin is not working for me, every time I try to recover a password or finish an order the web starts an indefinite loading loop, I deactivate the plugin and it does not happen, the smtp configuration is correct, it had been working for 2 years, it shows the following error :
    EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: The WP Mail SMTP v2.5.1 plugin logged this error the last time you tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
    SMTP connect () failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

    Consider running an email test after fixing it.

    Thanks for reaching out. Are you facing issues with reset password emails and order emails only, or are you not able to send emails from the WP Mail SMTP Email Test page? Could you please let me know if you are securing your SMTP settings via constants in wp-config.php? If that’s the case, please make sure you’re placing the constants incorrect position.
