That message disappears when I deactive Sendgrid plugin but I need Sendgrid for sending massive emails.

Well – I’m getting it too – and I don’t even have Sendgrid installed. Anyone any ideas?

Having wp_mail() overloaded isn’t necessarily a problem. The plugin notes it because it MAY be a problem if the plugin doesn’t seem to be working correctly. If you are getting this message AND you are having problems, you may way to temporarily disable the plugin which overloads wp_mail() to see if Email Users will work. If it does, then the plugin which overloads wp_mail() is doing something to the function which is incompatible with the standard function call.

To find out what is overloading wp_mail() you’ll have to disabled your plugins one at a time or in groups to isolate it. I don’t know of another way to chase it down.

Many thanks – I will try this and see how I get on. In my case, the message does not prevent Email Users from working, but it does slow things up, so a mail that used to arrive within a minute or so now seems to get ‘queued’ for half an hour or so – but does eventually arrive.
