WP magic field 1 to 2 migration

  • Hi,

    who know how to migrate data from MF 1 to MF 2 ?

    I deactivate the MF 1 and activate the 2, it seem I need to manually recreate each custom post and fields. And after that ? I tested with ACF, and the custom fields, if I rename is are display correctly in post, but i dont know how to do the same using MF2. I have hundred of post to migrate with MF1 actions.

    If you have an idea, thanks for your help.

  • The description of Magic Fields 2 explicitly has the following warning.

    “**NOTE: Magic Fields 2 IS NOT backward compatible with MF1 **”

    Hi Mike sadly in this moment there is not a script for migrate. MF1 and MF2 have distinct structure of tables. but this is not impossible, is only check the tables. the most of table have similar fields or relationship, i thinks the hardest part is migrate post type and content.
