• My login information with ID and password is public. I have changed the password many times to try to block access, but it helpfully provides the new password.

I temporarily deleted wp-login.php to stop access.

How can I rectify the problem? Is it a server problems?

  • If you try another computer what happens?

Please let us know what browser you are using, and if you are using any ‘add-ons’ for your browser that assist you with passwords?

How do you mean your information is public?

    Browser is Firefox

I tried another computer, same problem.

The latest browser add-on was SEO Quake, and I thought that was the problem, but the other computer did not have this add-on.

SEO quake does have one annoying Ads Spy, which lets everyone know how many sites you have, I turned this one off.

I don’t have any add-ons for password assistance.

The blog is less than one month old, but had a second indented listing, and this was the one that had the option to login. If you chose to login, the ID and password automatically appeared.

Since I deleted the login.php, temporarily, a second listing about another post has appeared.

I have always understood, perhaps wrongly, that to get a second indented listing on Google, you had to apply some smart SEO. This was certainly not the case with my blog.

I checked my other blogs, and they seem to be OK.

Forgot to mention, that for some strange reason on the same blog with the public login, the stats plugin fails to show any visitors. Google analytics shows that there have been a number of visitors, with the longest stay of about 19mins.
