  • when I enter my mycustomadminslug ( defined in .htaccess vith bwps plugin) in https://www.mydomain.com/mycustomadminslug .. I get only error 404 not found.. same when I try https://www.domain.com/wp-login.php or user login slug… always 404 error..

    ..that is the details.

    ..what with this line?

    The line in your .htaccess is:
    RewriteRule ^mycustomadminslug/?$ /wp-admin/?mycustomsecretcode [R,L]

    Thats true,

    – The secret code won’t show in url if user fail to type the login url

    ..only getting for now, when I enter my admin slug is 404 error, over and over again..

    @chetan0412:

    Have you tried to disable the Better WP Security and test your website. If the problem still exist you may need to report to WooCommerce.

    @pedja:

    You may need to re-install the plugin and it’s even better to perform a clean re-installation. Here has the information you may need:

    Guys I have a different problem.

    I changed the login, register and admin links on my website. Now the /wp-admin and wp-login won’t open.

    However when I type /wp-login.php it loads the login panel. Why is it not hidden?

    Because it is impossible to hide anything on the Internet (hiding is not security and it is impossible to hide anything). If you want to add security to your Login page then use plugins that use actual real security methods.

    Stealth Login Page plugin…

    Or…
    Login Dongle plugin…

This page appears broken. HTTP 404 – File not found.” My site is still working fine; take a look, click here to visit my website. I just can’t open the wp login page. How do I login to my admin area? I read what you told ilian55 above, but my htaccess looks fine. Thank you for your advice. Have a blessed day. Mike
