wp-login does not take me to wp-admin
-
Hi,
I’ve transferred the site I’m working on to my live server form my local development environment using the import and export tools. It is a child theme of twentyeleven.hernandeznorthshore.com
I go to hernandeznorthshore.com/wp-login.php and I login. It gives me a error message: “This request has been denied for security reasons. If you believe this was in error, please contact support.”
Then, if I type in hernandeznorthshore.com/wp-admin.php I come to a page that says:
“This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.”
However, the good news is that it also shows that I have successfully logged in. When I click on Dashboard, everything seems to be working fine. I wouldn’t have a huge problem with this work-around, but I have a client who needs a simple login, not a work-around.
Seems like the wp-login is not able to find the wp-admin file.
I’ve been looking all over the forums, but there are so many different approaches, I could do that all day. I need to narrow down what I should do to correct this to one or two things.
