• Hello Gregor!

Thanks for this very helpful, free plugin!

I wanted to let you know that I am currently seeing an issue regarding email logging on one of my serviced sites:

WP Mail Logging ist not logging anything / displaying an empty table in the admin log screen, even though there are emails sent and received.

I sent test emails using WP Mail SMTP and those were received without any issues. The setting used in WP Mail SMTP is “php” – so I am using my server’s php sendmail module to send emails from within that particular WordPress Installation.

It is a multisite setup, where each network site that makes use of WP Mail SMTP, has this plugin enabled alongside WP Mail Logging. The issue only occurs on site ID 1. Other sites in this network do not show this behaviour on WP Mail Logging screen.

There are mails sent using contact form 7 and woocommerce as well as wp system emails.

There is php 8.1 enabled for this vhost.

Any idea why the log screen table is not catching any sent mails?

I found something weird in the php error log related to WP Mail Logging, when trying to access the logs admin screen. I guess this is the culprit here (we do not use WPML, not did we ever use it… ):

    Hi @jyria

    Thank you for your patience.

I’m Dake and I’m hopping in while David is out today.

After speaking with our developers, they confirmed that currently, WP Mail Logging does not officially support Multisite installations.

This is something we are considering for the future, but it is not a native feature nor is there an official workaround for it to be supported.

It should be possible with custom code, however, I apologize as we aren’t able to provide support for this degree of customization.
