    Hello,
Wordpress by default comes with this “wp-links-opml.php” that exports all links in XML. Is there any way to deactivate this? other than remove that code file?
    Thank you in advance.
    Cheers,
    Ricardo Pinho

Hi Ricardo, that file is related to the old legacy WordPress Link Manager, and not to Link Library. While Link Library was originally an extension of the built-in Link Manager, it split off in version 6.0 and started using Custom Post Types to store all of its data and gain extra capabilities.

So I can’t really help you with this file. If you never installed the plugin to install the legacy Link Manager (which has been hidden since WordPress 3.5), then this file won’t do anything. It can’t read your links from Link Library.

If you did use the old link manager, you can delete all of your links from it by going to the Global Options section of Link Library and click the button to “Delete Old Links”

Thank you Yannick for explaining it.
Yes I had some forgotten Old Links in there and I’ve just erased them.
    Best regards
