wp-jquery-lightbox – image width

Using the above plugin and having problems with image width. It seems vertical pictures adjust fine to the lightbox. but then if you click on a horizonal picture the picture does not expand in the lightbox?

Is this an issue with the plugin or a setting with in wordpress we have missed?
