WP JOB Manager – Listing Edit By User Prior to Approval

    I would like wp job manager to allow the admin to interact with the user prior to approval.

    Our workflow is such that when you submit a listing to our site, it activates you as a user and then submits the profile for approval. The user then tries to edit what they submitted and it only gives you the option to delete the listing. The user is not permitted to edit the user until after approval.

    We have strict rules as to what can be approved and require many changes by the user prior to approval.

    What I would like is for the submission to be only available to the User and the admin until published and then approval makes it live.

    the only way I can do it to my knowledge is customize the code to allow an edit by the user on an unapproved listing OR approve it temporarily until they get it finished and then unapprove if the don’t and leave it be if they do get it completed…

    any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

    Can you check your Job Listings->Settings->Job Submissions settings page. Do you have the “Submissions awaiting approval can be edited” option checked?
