WP iTunes

Alright, also figured out my caching issue. It’s not been the most intelegent weekend for me. If you’re going to use the plug-in, turn off the Staticize Reloaded plugin. ??

Anybody get Recent Tunes to work with this yet? I keep getting a :@ thrown in front of my URI when doing an HTTP GET. All other arguments appear to be passing through just fine. FYI I do have this working from a Windows machine running iTunesBlogger, so I’m confident wp-iTunes is setup correctly. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Bingo. The upload URL was it; definitetly formatted differently than with iTunesBlogger. Thanks for the help.

Getting similar error with initial database creation. Have removed everything a couple of times and reinstalled with still no luck.

This is the error:

Database error: [Table ‘wpdb.wp_itunes’ doesn’t exist]
SELECT * FROM wp_itunes ORDER BY added_date DESC LIMIT 10

Any ideas or help will be appreciated..

Couple questions about your site
1) What photo album is that, is it a plugin for WP or something thats easily integrateable
2) What theme is that, I like it! Too lazy to make one myself so I just modified the default 1.5 theme

I am having some trouble with this plugin, I am pretty sure I set up everything right but that stupid iTunesblogger never updates anything. I tried just putting in the URL

and that at least got something to show up, but I think that either iTunesblogger is buggy or it takes hours/days?/I dunno to update.

I noticed iTunesBlogger likes to lock up my iTunes every so often, after every few songs it seems like it’ll freeze, it doesnt say Not Responding, but iTunes wont let you do anything because it seems like the iTunesBlogger is trying to pull the information but its not getting it.

zeeg, i’ve noticed that same problem…i’ve talked to the developers of iTunesBlogger, and the only thing they mentioned is to make sure you don’t have a beta version of the .Net framework installed…however, i double-checked that on one of my machines, and i still have that problem where iTunes gets locked…basketball, you may be having the same problem, i’m not sure…

I like how you’ve got a link to the last 50 songs played. Mind sharing how you did that? I’ll try to figure something out in the meantime.

You would query the iTunes table thats created to get the last songs played

Thanks, I did end up trying something simple that worked. I just made another .php page calling out the plugin as normal, but set the limit to 50 (rather than 1 or 2 like I have in the sidebar). Not as pretty as lucky33’s page, but does the job.

Is there a plugin that can play songs from Winamp 5.0.8?

In one brilliant moment this plugin finally worked for me after I found a mistake I made in configuring iTunesBlogger (although, that little piece of software still has issues-it only updates one song and then falls asleep on me). However, after I saw my recently played song display on my blog in one glorious moment, I returned to log into my WordPress only to be confronted with the following list of errors instead of the login page:

I’ll have to uninstall the plugin for now and I’m deeply disappointed. Anyone have any suggestions?
