wp-includes/simplepie Fatal Error

  • So I updated WordPress earlier and now I’m getting this message (redacted site name for security reasons):

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in (redacted)/wp-includes/SimplePie/Item.php on line 2736

    I Googled this and others, from months ago, got this same exact message but no replies or fixes in those threads, so hopefully someone here can help.
